fell asleep on meme

Someone, whether it be a friend or a total stranger, has fallen asleep on you wherever
you happen to be; you are a rather comfortable pillow to them.

What do you do?

Unfortunately (for Blonsky), if living on campus for four years taught anyone anything, it was how to sleep through distractions. Chris only mumbled something unintelligible in his sleep, curling in on himself a little tighter from his position on the couch and somehow simultaneously taking up as much and as little space as possible.

Before settling back into comparatively undisturbed rest, he looped an arm around the soldier's the way one might cradle their pillow in the crook of their arm. It made one thing abundantly clear: he would not be moving of his own accord.

Blonsky grit his teeth, muttered several curses under his breath, and considered his options. He could wake Chris up with a strong shove, then dealing with a grumpy genius on his hands. Alternatively, carry him to one of the bedrooms, which would require no small amount of dexterity he wasn't certain he was capable of.

He sighed, watched the kid sleep. Chris looked so... innocent. Far from his usual, well, crazy that was the norm. His eyes looked over the couch and quickly he made a decision.

The tv was turned off, remote set down quietly. He moved quickly, with as much grace as he could manage in the situation, and within seconds was lying on his back on the couch. That put Chris half on Blonsky, half against the back cushions. And Blonsky came to the decision that this was not snuggling in any way, manner, or form, even as he wound an arm around Chris, hand coming to rest on his back, to hold him close. It was for practicality and safety, should any soldiers discover them. Nothing more.

Chris didn't snuggle by any known definition of the word; he clutched and grappled like a touch-starved octopus with sixteen extra limbs. Almost immediately upon Blonsky's settling into a more reclined position on the couch, Chris had pressed his face into the soldier's shirt so closely that it was a wonder he could still breathe.

He snuffled in his sleep, curling in on himself and clutching tightly at any part of Blonsky that happened to get in the way.

Blonsky forced himself to remain still while Chris carried on his clingy assault. By the end of it Chris had pulled one of his hands close to him and claimed it like a teddy bear against his cheek. The soldier maneuvered it a little in a way for comfort's sake, then settled into a light sleep. Soon enough he started snoring.
